We have been talking this week about the various levels of consciousness and types of energy available to us to help live and create our lives. Here are some tips to help gain greater self-awareness so you can create more of what you do want in your life.
Scan a typical day and tune into your usual thoughts and feelings. In an average 24-hour day, where are your thoughts, what types of experiences do you have, and how do you feel as a result? Are you genuinely happy and upbeat? Do you feel good and do your experiences nourish you? Perhaps you feel stressed, tired and worn down. Do certain people or events push your buttons and trigger reactions, feelings and emotions that don’t make you feel good?
If you are like most people, you have a mix of experiences every day. Some situations feel good, and others do not. We flip from one to another. We move along feeling pretty good, and then something happens that may send us into a tailspin.
Each time your energy dips down and you don’t feel great, you energize or feed the lower vibrations. To the extent you pull yourself out of these “dips” and you learn how to quickly move away from them, you raise your vibration. When you raise your vibration, you feel better. When you feel better, you have a more positive approach and perspective. When you have a more positive approach and perspective, you attract higher vibrational circumstances to yourself. It’s like a spiral. You get to choose whether your energy spirals up or your energy spirals down.
In a lot of cases it is simply a matter of recognizing where your mind habitually goes and then gently rerouting it. In other cases we must delve deeper and root out the hidden agendas that are blocking our greatest good. In any case it is within our power to know ourselves and thus have greater influence over the quality of our lives.
