Trauma, Stress and Energy: the Backstory
Our brain and nervous system do not know the difference between real and imagined, so they experiences psychological stress in the same way as physical threats. And because of how we are both hardwired and conditioned, we react to stress and psychological threats in the same way we do a life threatening trauma. If we realize that a good deal of what we deal with in these situations is simply our lower brain and reactive nervous systems it can be a bit more understandable that we need to intervene in a positive way to recondition our systems.
In addition to all that, because of the patterns laid down by stress or trauma, our brains and nervous systems in effect often do not realize that the trauma or stress is over.
Trauma, Stress and Energy and Unconscious Patterns
The patterns that took root in our brains and nervous systems occurred not only out of our awareness, but also in ways that we typically do not understand so we do not address them. The science of mind body interaction has shown us that unless we actively intervene in a way that restores balance, healing and the capacity for letting go, we are stuck with patterns that are typically very old and not very functional in our present day life.
Trauma, Stress and Energy: Resolving the Dilemma
We need to develop inner pathways that allow us to really let go, surrender and forgive to reset our nervous systems and be able to free up our energy so it can flow to the creation of lives of choice rather than reactivity.
Letting Go: The Heart of Healing is a guided meditation that helps you recondition your energy/nervous system so you can move beyond “old stuck places” and into the flow of emotional freedom and choice.
