Tension Release: Three Simple Tips for a Stress-Less Day

Tension release positively affects our mental, emotional and physical well being. An intention to focus on creating a free and easy flow within increases mental clarity, emotional peace and physical ease. As these inner states change our perception can shift and the outer world becomes much less difficult.

Here are three affirmations/breath practices to help you release stress as you go through your day

Tension in my body constricts my energy flow affecting my health, feelings and interactions in the world. As I notice tension arising I can use my breath to let it go rather than letting it accumulate in my mind and body.

I can choose to take “breath breaks” throughout my day, intentionally tuning into my body-mind, noticing stress and tension, I can willingly release it with my out breath.

As I pay attention to breathing freely and easily, new healthy energy fills me and a vibrant sense of aliveness grows.

Awareness, affirmation and breathing practice can be a positive means to release stress as you move through your day versus allowing stress and tension to accumulate in your mind and body.
