Developing Emotional Mastery or Emotional Intelligence has profound positive effects on mind-body health.
All our deeply felt emotions trigger a body response. This is a natural process but it has negative results if we are do not have the capacity to process feelings. Awareness of our emotions and how to process them reduces or eliminates the negative effects of unprocessed emotions on body mind and spirit.
Emotional Intelligence (Mastery) is about returning power (energy) to our systems. That power can be best put to use to create and enjoy life and living!
“Physiologically, it simply doesn’t matter whether your anger is justified or not. The body doesn’t make moral judgments about feelings; it just responds.”- Doc Childre and Howard Martin, HeartMath Solution
There are actually several benefits to cultivating Emotional Mastery: (1) your health will improve, (2) your relationships will improve, (3) your energy will improve!
When our energy improves, our basic “energy tone” does as well. Energy tied up in old stuck feelings and programming now can be used to take appropriate action toward our dreams. When our supply and vibration improve it is easier to be in alignment with the things we desire.
Emotional Mastery Includes
Emotional Mastery (Emotional Intelligence) includes identifying, collapsing and releasing old patterns, reactions and memories. It also is about learning to let feeling flow instead holding on. When we truly feel a sense of release then we are on our way! It’s all a process of learning so be kind, patient and gentle with yourself!

Another aid to expand emotional intelligence is Letting Go: The Heart of Healing. This recording helps by providing you with three techniques that engage body and mind to develop the neural pathways for truly letting go. The methods included allow you to develop the necessary neural pathways to let go rather than simply having the idea of letting go (which is not useful).
Retraining our nervous systems not only helps to develop resiliency, it also allows for positive change to come to every area of our lives.
