It has often been noted that when we are in love we feel better physically, do not get sick as often, feel emotionally buoyant and resilient and may feel mentally clearer (although the opposite can also be true! :)).

The field of neuroscience has provided us with information showing exactly why this is so but even more importantly it has shown us that we can have all those benefits with a little focus, practice and awareness.

We do not have to wait to fall in love to have the beneficial experience.We can create opportunities to feel love and still receive all the benefits even if there is not a significant other in our lives.
