This week our blog posts give much thought to how our perspective influences not only our days, but also our lives. The story in A Change That Changes Everything is such a vivid example of the power we hold. The son in the story emulates the possibilities.
Energetically, the stronger, more free flowing and coherent our energy is the greater our ability to shift perspective from a narrow, constricting one to a deeper, broader one that serves us in a healthy way. Developing our energetic skills provides us with a good foundation for being able to live moreconsistently from a perspective that enhances our lives rather than creates or perpetuates pain, strife, conflict and struggle.
Having a strong, free flowing and coherent energy field also serves us well in those times when it is necessary to simply be with what is. Many life events require us to be able to process difficult feelings or to “hold” paradoxical thoughts or emotions.
There are times in life when regardless of our “positivity” or deep desires we must face challenges, sorrows, or danger. In those times we must be “big enough” (our field is such that it provides the energy/consciousness of strength, courage and flexibility) to meet life on its own terms. Then our perspective is one that can hold all that is rather than escaping into a spiritual bypass that does not serve but cripples our essential inherent magnitude.
The natural disaster in Colorado is one such time when we must hold so many different emotions. Our hearts are filled with compassion, at the same time we feel grief and hope for those involved. We do our best when held in the grip of powerlessness by sending thoughts/prayers and gifts of energy through our heartfelt wishes for safety and speedy recovery….knowing that they do in fact have an effect even though we may never know exactly what or how.
We are complex as is life. We need a graceful capacity to blend our spiritual energy with our human nature…to understand the role of each and how they can be integrated in the best possible way rather than attempting to live solely from one or the other standpoint.
We are amazing Beings living in an amazing place (need we add in amazing times?). Attuning to our energy, learning to channel it and be skillful in our practice(s) opens the door to living the adventure of life with grace, confidence, excitement and joy.
Moment by moment, wishing you a week of possibility and wonderment!
